Warranty Terms

Warranty is subject our manufacturers terms and conditions.  All items must be assessed by manufacturer.

Cookware Obsession warrants that products are free from defects from manufacture. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Products are made according to the manufacturer standards. With normal use, they will give you many years of satisfaction.  The manufactures give you a warranty against manufacturing and material defects from the date of purchase of your product. The manufacturers strongly recommend washing products by hand. After all, dishwashing products are becoming more and more aggressive and can damage parts of the cookware. Cookware Obsession recommends hand washing, of all products, especially for products with a non-stick coating. It will significantly extend the life of the product and prevent discoloration.
Wear and discolouration, because of cleaning in the dishwasher are not covered by the warranty.

Manufactures warranty does not cover the consequences of normal wear and tear, overheating or other misuse.  Please refer to the individual manufactures warranty terms and conditions.

Also, discoloration, the formation of mineral deposits and scratches on the inside or outside of the stainless steel are not considered a manufacturing defect.

Spare parts such as rubber sealing rings, Bakelite parts, glass lids, … are not covered by the warranty, but can be replaced while stocks last. However, this service is not free, for more information please contact Cookware Obsession.

If, despite all good care, you experience a problem that is covered by warranty, you can return the product together with the proof of purchase to Cookware Obsession. Postage is the responsibility of the claimant. Please contact Cookware Obsession before returning the item. info@cookwareobsession.com.au

Refunds/exchange

If items need to be returned/exchanged postage is the responsibility of the consumer. This is for the item to be returned to Cookware Obsession and for the new item to be posted to customer. New item will not be sent until postage has been paid.

Items are to be returned within their original complete packaging and warranty and information cards and undamaged box etc.  Products are not to have been used in any way. Item must be received by Cookware Obsession in original condition. Any damage incurred when being returned due to transport or improper packing will be at the consumers own risk and expense.

Items returned without original packaging or  warranty and information cards maybe offered a partial refund at the discretion of Cookware Obsession.

Refunds will be made less fees charged by payment apps.  

 

Pricing Policy

All prices shown on Cookware Obsession web site are subject to change without notice, and the pricing on this website supersedes any printed or electronic advertising or pricing.  Please Note: Cookware Obsession happily complies with all terms as set out in the Australian Consumer Law.  All effort is put into keeping prices and information correct and up to date.  Mistakes do happen, and if pricing or information is incorrect on our website, we will:
A/ Immediately withdraw the goods from sale, until we can correct the error,
and
B/ Advise you of this error, prior or after processing any payment.

 

Shipping and delivery:

All orders are shipped from our site within 1-2 business days of order being placed and payment cleared. Packages may be faced with delays beyond our control due to carrier delays.

We use Australia Post and use their signature on delivery option.

You will receive an email with your receipted invoice and parcel tracking number once items have been shipped.

If you use a parcel locker, signature on delivery cannot be used and the items will be sent with tracking only.

Please note, some boxes maybe opened for quality inspection before shipping.

On checkout, there is a box for extra cover with Australia Post.   If you decide not to tick extra cover on checkout, Cookware Obsession will not assume any liability or responsible for any parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.  If extra cover is ticked, this is cover taken with Australia Post and not Cookware Obsession.
